![]() ![]() You are a regular campaigner for animal rights so can you tell us about your standout moment of the last 2 years? Throughout history, the human has been conditioned against what really matters and the truth of how life's reality should be. ![]() If one person can change then other people have no excuse. ![]() If we, humans listened and educated ourselves for a brief time then so much can change. I try and keep a balance with writing literature, promoting my work and campaigning for various issues and rights. You care so much about everything around you so how do you channel this into day-to-day living? I have lost some excess weight and my digestive system is healthier. How else do you feel since making the switch? The mind is one of the most powerful tools and once it focuses positively then anything can be achieved and gained. Anyone can change their life for the better. I have noticed in recent weeks that I have become healthier too. Since that day, I have never felt the same about my diet. My partner, Parul has also been a huge inspiration to me. From what I'd witnessed, it made my stomach feel like it had fallen to the floor time and time again and I said to myself 'I can't do this anymore'. I couldn't take all the cruelty which I'd noticed over time. It's only recently that I decided I want to and have to be vegan. Please tell us why and when you decided to go vegan. ![]()

Just goes to show that the dude hasn’t changed a whole lot in his writing style. What also surprised me about the book is how similar in structure and… “issues” let’s say, to his other books I’d already read that came somewhat later in his writing career were to this one. So obviously he knows how to string words together. This thing doesn’t exactly read like a debut novel. Turns out, I probably should have listened to myself and/or watched the show instead.ĪLTERED CARBON ( Amazon) is, surprisingly, Richard K. And wouldn’t you know it, about that same time the book came up in my audiobook queue at the library as available and I just couldn’t help myself. Still, the trailer for the series that Netflix recently did just looked AMAZING. Although I have also read THIRTEEN, but that didn’t really ruffle my feathers either. Granted, most of his stuff that I’d read was in the fantasy genre. Prior to now, I hadn’t picked this book up because of the complete underwhelming Richard K. ![]() As with my previous review, the decision to finally read this novel came as a result of consuming media outside of the book realm. ![]() 5/22/2023 0 Comments Ever the Hunted by Erin Summerill![]() And soon she will learn what has always made her different will make her a daunting and dangerous force. Both were gifted young psychology professors: Kahneman a rootless son of holocaust survivors who saw the world as a problem to be solved Tversky a voluble, instinctual blur of energy. But buried somewhere inside it was another story, one that I’d left unexplored and untold, about the way the human mind worked, or failed to work when it was forming judgements and making decisions.įrom Michael Lewis, the No.1 bestselling author of Moneyball, The Big Short and Flash Boys, comes an extraordinary story of two men whose ideas changed the world.ĭaniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky met in war-torn 1960s Israel. I hadn’t actually thought much about the psychological aspects of the Moneyball story… All of these biases that the Oakland front office talked about I’d found interesting but I hadn’t really pushed further and asked: where do the biases come from? Why do people have them? I’d set out to tell a story about the way markets worked, or failed to work, especially when they were valuing people. ![]() 5/22/2023 0 Comments Ovids fasti![]() ![]() 1 The goddesses disagreed of them Polyhymnia began the first the others were silent, and noted her saying in their mind.
